December 6, 2023In today’s world men are given more opportunities than their female counterpart and that is why IYDN is putting more emphasis on building women’s self-belief and self-confidence which is essential prerequisites for success in business.
According to a KPMG report, about 75% of female executives across industries have experienced imposter syndrome in their careers. This condition can be even more challenging for young entrepreneurs in Africa because most of these youngsters don’t have mentors or managers to lean on when they are doubting themselves.
Our focus is on how to “Break this Bias” that women face every day in the global marketplace and thereby accelerate gender parity, equality, inclusion, and diversity. Annually IYDN selects and links outstanding female entrepreneurs to mentors who helps these women reduce feelings of imposter syndrome when doubting their abilities to take on new roles or investment. We also feature products from women-owned businesses on our website, invite women and women of colour business owners to our events and panel discussions to diversify perspectives and knowledge, we also support them with working capital through the IYDN impact fund.

Our focus is to “Break this Bias” that women face every day in the global marketplace.
Your kind donation will help us reach more women with this opportunity..
