International Youths Development Network connects impactful Community projects of disadvantaged youths groups, rural schools and local Skill acquisition centers in West Africa to volunteer mentors and donor agencies.Volunteer with us and help transform the future leaders
Our organisation is presently organizing local neglected skill acquisition centres in West Africa into a network, working with them to tackle the root cause of poverty and unemployment among rural disadvantaged youths especially the girl child through an innovative approach codenamed “Train, Empower, and Promote” (TEP Approach). This innovative disadvantaged Youth-Centered Skills Empowerment Program, shall empower local centres for better service delivery and also support individual apprentices.
The local skill centres are the last hope of disadvantaged youths who drop out of school. Although they are doing a great job, these centres are poorly equipped, and offer only practical skills leaving learners with limited business skills, not recognized and unable to get government benefits, and cannot support learners with needed assets and resources to establish themselves after graduation, and the apprenticeship certificates offered by this centres are not accepted in the job market.
The project shall tackle these challenges facing skill centres and their learners by bridging the knowledge and funding gap for these disadvantaged youths, equipping the centres with learning tools and empowering learners with training kits and start-up capital through a revolving impact fund, linking them to markets, Partner with local/ international accredited skill institutions for certification of learners, also advocate for change in policy towards local skills centres.
More youths will enrol on local skill centres, assured that graduates can now be recognized, and earn local and international business practices and certifications. Disadvantaged youths will gain access to funding, develop the habit of marketing their products, and savings /credit discipline. An alumnus of over 20000 local skilled apprentices will be formed within West Africa who can join the millionaires ranking list within the next 5 years and be in a position to support the initiative.

Empower participants, with startup equipment and finance via our youth bank/secure them a job from both local/international firms
Promote each Youth TEP Network Participant through various channels, link them up to market, and provide them with free business growth advice
